I might not be seeing cherry blossoms in Japan or Korea this spring again but lucky me, I got to see a Palawan cherry blossom tree in our city.
Cassia nodosa or also most popularly known by its’ common name, Balayong is hailed as “Palawan’s own version of Cherry Blossoms” since this type of tree is commonly found in Puerto Princesa, Palawan (see CNN article).
Can someone please make a Balayong park here? Manila needs more trees.
